Hearings to examine the nominations of Thomas R. Nides, of Minnesota, to be Ambassador to the State of Israel, David L. Cohen, of Pennsylvania, to be Ambassador to Canada, Cynthia Ann Telles, of California, to be Ambassador to the Republic of Costa Rica, Sarah Margon, of New York, to be Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, and Tom Udall, of New Mexico, to be Ambassador to New Zealand, and to serve concurrently and without additional compensation as Ambassador to the Independent State of Samoa, all of the Department of State.
