Hearings to examine the role of child care small businesses in supporting parents and the American workforce, including S.673, to allow nonprofit child care providers to participate in certain loan programs of the Small Business Administration, S.1867, to authorize the Secretary of Agriculture to carry out an initiative to develop, expand, and improve rural childcare, and S.3787, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to increase the credit for employers establishing workplace child care facilities, to increase the child care credit to encourage greater use of quality child care services, to provide incentives for students to earn child care-related degrees and to work in child care facilities, and to increase the exclusion for employer-provided dependent care assistance.
