Improving Part-Time Workers Access to Retirement Act of 2021

This bill shortens the maximum time, from three consecutive 12-month periods of at least 500 hours of service to two such periods, that an employer may require before a part-time employee is eligible for participation in certain employer-sponsored retirement plans.

Referred to the Committee on Education and Labor, and in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
