Condemns the verdict against Yulia Tymoshenko and requests that she be released from custody while the verdict is appealed.

Demands that Ukraine: (1) release all political prisoners and provide medical care to those that have been imprisoned; and (2) adhere to the principles of democracy and rule of law by respecting human rights, freedom of the press, and the protection of free speech and the right to peaceful assembly.
