Workers' Right to Training Act

Workers' Right to Training Act

This bill requires employers implementing new technology that is expected to result in the loss of, or changes to, employment positions to notify affected employees about the new technology, negotiate with affected employees about how the new technology can incorporate their skills and roles, and provide affected employees with relevant on-the-job training.

Referred to the Committee on Education and Labor, and in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
