COVID-19 Emergency Social Security Cost of Living Increase Act of 2020

This bill changes the methods used to determine annual increases to Social Security benefits and provides an emergency cost-of-living increase of at least 3% to beneficiaries beginning in November 2020.

Referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committee on Education and Labor, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
