This bill directs the Department of Education to make grants to parents of eligible students (e.g., students who are served by local educational agencies that will not provide in-person instruction in a manner consistent with the 2019-2020 school year) for certain education-related expenses. Grant funds may be used for tuition and fees for private elementary or secondary schools, private tutoring, home school expenses, or educational materials.
