Gabby's Law Act
This bill requires hospitals, as a condition of Medicare participation, to adopt sepsis protocols that meet specified standards. Among other requirements, such protocols must include identification and treatment of sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock in individuals of all ages in emergency departments and as part of inpatient services.
