This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to publicly disclose the results of any testing for perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances (i.e., PFAS) conducted on military installations or formerly used defense sites. Prior to conducting any testing for PFAS, DOD must also provide written notice to the managers of the public water system and the publicly owned treatment works serving the areas located immediately adjacent to the military installation where such testing is to occur.
