Health Care Opportunities for Transportation Security Administration Employees Act
This bill allows employees of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to enroll or change their enrollment in a health insurance plan during a national emergency, such as the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic, and during the 30-day period following the end of the emergency.
The bill also increases the biweekly government contribution towards health insurance plans for part-time TSA employees to match that contributed for full-time employees.
