Funding Deadline Enforcement Act

This bill generally prohibits federal funds from being used to pay for the travel costs of a Member of Congress during a fiscal year until each of the regular appropriations bills for the fiscal year has been enacted.

The bill also prohibits the House of Representatives from adjourning for more than 12 hours until each appropriations bill is enacted.

Further, on every legislative day until each appropriations bill is enacted, the Speaker of the House shall call for a recorded vote on the approval of the Journal of the last day's proceedings.

Referred to the Committee on House Administration, and in addition to the Committee on Rules, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
