Workforce Reentry Act
This bill directs the Department of Labor to award grants to private nonprofit organizations, local workforce development boards, state or local governments, or Indian or Native American entities to provide job training, job placement services, and mentoring to individuals who
- have been convicted of a crime as a juvenile or an adult and imprisoned, or
- have not been released from prison for more than two years before the date on which the individual begins participation in the workforce.
