Washington-Grant Historic Preservation Act
This bill imposes a one-year minimum prison sentence in certain instances where an individual willfully injures or destroys (or attempts to injure or destroy) a monument on public property commemorating the service of a person or persons in the Armed Forces. (Current law allows for but does not require a prison sentence of up to 10 years.)
