Crop Insurance Fairness Act of 2018
This bill prohibits the Department of Agriculture (USDA) from modifying the method of determining assigned yields for the noninsured crop disaster assistance program unless: (1) USDA provides public notice of the modified method and the method does not apply earlier than the first crop year that is one year after the notice is provided; or (2) the modified method will increase the payment amount of the producer.
