VA Child Care Protection Act of 2019
This bill prohibits the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from making payments to any child care center, child care agency, or child care provider that employs an individual who has been charged with a sex crime, a crime involving a child victim, a violent crime, or a drug felony. The bill allows the VA to make payments if such an individual has been suspended from contact with children until the case is resolved.
