Health Coverage Reporting Paperwork Reduction Act
This bill amends the Internal Revenue Code to modify the reporting requirements for providers of minimum essential health insurance coverage. Under current law, statements regarding the health coverage must be submitted to the Internal Revenue Service and the covered individuals who are named in the statements. The bill provides that the statements for covered individuals are only required to be provided upon request of the individuals.
