Consumer Protection and Fuel Transparency Act of 2018
This bill directs the Environmental Protection Agency to: (1) require the labels of fuel pumps that dispense E15 fuel (fuel that contains 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline) to include additional details, such as warning information; and (2) implement a public education campaign concerning the risks associated with the improper use of E15 fuel in vehicles, engines, and equipment, such as boats, lawnmowers, and snowmobiles.
