CSA OPPORTUNITY Act

Children's Savings Accounts Offer Parents Plenty of Reasons to Understand and Invest in Tuition Yearly Act or the CSA OPPORTUNITY Act

This bill requires that (1) the value of a qualified tuition program be excluded for purposes of a means test under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program or the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits program; and (2) the value of a child's savings account be excluded for purposes of a means test under the TANF program, the SSI benefits program, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or the low-income home-energy-assistance program.
