This bill expands the definition of critical services in the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to include solid waste management, stormwater management, public housing, transportation infrastructure, and medical care.
This bill allows the President, in the event of a major disaster, to make contributions for (1) the repair of infrastructure used to access a private nonprofit facility damaged or destroyed by such disaster; and (2) solid waste management, stormwater management, emergency support transportation, nonemergency medical, first response, and security.
