Responsible DOD Leasing Act of 2018

This bill prohibits a military department from entering into a lease of real property unless it first certifies that facilities in property under the jurisdiction of the Department of Defense (DOD) cannot be reconfigured to support the purpose of the proposed lease in an appropriate and cost-effective manner. DOD and the Government Accountability Office must provide information and reports on such leases.
