Gold King Mine Spill Accountability Act of 2018
This bill provides assistance to persons injured by the Gold King Mine spill in Colorado that released mine wastewater laced with heavy metals into the Animas and San Juan Rivers. The bill states that a person may include an individual; a tribal organization; a nonfederal entity; states; or the Animas-La Plata Operation, Maintenance, and Replacement Association.
