HHS Cybersecurity Modernization Act
This bill authorizes the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to designate an officer within HHS as having the primary responsibility of information security, including cybersecurity, for HHS programs; HHS may transfer the functions, personnel, assets, and liabilities of the previous Chief Information Security Officer within HHS to the newly designated officer.
