Social Security Commission Act of 2017
This bill temporarily establishes, within the legislative branch, the Commission on Long Term Social Security Solvency. The commission must submit to Congress recommendations and proposed legislation for achieving, for a period of at least 75 years, solvency in both of the Social Security trust funds.
The bill provides for expedited consideration of proposed legislation recommended by the commission.
