Member Pay Freeze Act

Member Pay Freeze Act - Amends the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946 to provide that pay for Members of Congress may not be increased by any adjustment scheduled to take effect in a calendar year if the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) determines that the federal aggregate outlays during the last completed fiscal year exceeded the federal aggregate receipts during such fiscal year.

Referred to the Committee on House Administration, and in addition to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
