Buffalo Bayou National Heritage Area Act
This bill establishes the Buffalo Bayou National Heritage Area in Texas. The Buffalo Bayou National Heritage Area Corporation is designated as the management entity for the heritage area. The corporation shall submit a management plan for the heritage area. The bill sets forth requirements for the approval or disapproval of the plan.
The bill specifies its effect on private property protections and water rights with regard to the heritage area. Nothing in this bill is meant to modify the Rio Grande Natural Area Act.
