Fair Care Act
This bill prohibits implementation of the rule titled "Short-Term, Limited-Duration Insurance," which lengthened the maximum period of coverage for such insurance.
The bill specifies that such insurance policies must (1) have a specified, limited duration not to exceed 93 days; (2) be nonrenewable; (3) prominently display certain information about coverage limitations in marketing materials; (4) cover essential health benefits; and (5) meet other specified requirements.
