Affirms the need to achieve environmental justice so that environmental and public health policies adequately and equally protect all Americans.

Commends environmental justice advocates for their work to achieve fairer, healthier, more sustainable policies and outcomes.

Acknowledges the prevalence of environmental injustices that directly affect the health and well-being of individuals and communities across the country, especially racial minority, rural, indigenous, and low-income communities.

Affirms the commitment of the House of Representatives to ameliorating existing environmental injustices and preventing future injustices.
