A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to increase the thresholds by which medical facility projects and medical facility leases of the Department of Veterans Affairs are considered major medical facility projects and major medical facility leases, respectively, and for other purposes.

This bill increases the thresholds by which Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility projects and medical facility leases are considered major projects or major leases.

Project thresholds are increased from $10 million to $20 million and lease thresholds are increased from an average annual rental rate exceeding $1 million to an average annual rental rate exceeding $1.5 million.

(Major project or lease designation requires additional funding, administrative, and approval criteria.)
