Alaska Remote Generator Reliability and Protection Act

This bill directs the Environmental Protection Agency to repeal certain regulations regarding particulate matter emissions standards for nonemergency stationary diesel engines in remote areas of Alaska. Any revision of regulations applicable to stationary diesel engines in remote areas of Alaska that requires emission control devices must occur in consultation with the Department of Energy and may not negatively affect energy reliability in remote areas of Alaska.
