Direct Broadcast Satellite Expansion Act of 2017
This bill amends federal copyright law and the Communications Act of 1934 to extend statutory licenses for secondary transmissions, and require satellite carriers to carry the analog and digital signals of licensed local television broadcast stations, in U.S. territories and possessions under the same requirements that apply in states.
