Grandparent-Grandchild Medical Leave Act

This bill amends the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 and federal civil service law to entitle to leave an eligible employee, including a federal employee, to care for an adult child, grandparent, or grandchild (as well as for a spouse, child, or parent), if that person has a serious health condition.

Referred to the Committee on Education and the Workforce, and in addition to the Committees on Oversight and Government Reform, and House Administration, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
