Trade Deficit Reduction Act
This bill requires the Department of Labor to annually identify each country for which the following apply:
- the value of goods and services imported into the United States exceeds twice the value of goods and services exported from the United States to that country, or $100 billion; or
- the value of goods and services imported into and exported from the United States exceeds $1 billion.
Labor shall convene a meeting of the Trade Policy Review Group to develop trade deficit reduction plans with such countries.
