To extend for two years the program for priority review to encourage treatments for rare pediatric diseases.

This bill amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to extend through 2018 the priority review voucher program for treatments for rare pediatric diseases. (A priority review voucher is a transferable voucher that entitles the holder to have a new drug or biological product application acted upon by the Food and Drug Administration within six months.)
