This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to submit a report to the House and Senate Committees on Armed Services that identifies the authorities DOD recommends be provided to the Commander and the acquisition executive of the U.S. Special Operations Command to develop, acquire, and sustain special operations-peculiar technology, equipment, and services that are equivalent to the authorities of the Secretaries and acquisition executives of the military departments for the development, acquisition, and sustainment of technology, equipment, and services.
