Congratulates National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronaut Scott Kelly for:

  • the historic achievement in completing a one-year mission in space; and
  • a successful return to Earth, the United States, and his family.

Recognizes that:

  • the one-year mission of Scott Kelly contributed to research on the effects of long-duration space flight on the human body and mind, and
  • continuing studies of human health are critical to future human exploration of space.

Applauds the contributions of the one-year journey in space of Scott Kelly to the scientific progress of the United States.
