Criminal Alien Detention and Removal Act
This bill amends the federal criminal code to require: (1) the supervised release of an individual following imprisonment for a felony conviction, and (2) the deportation of a deportable alien who is sentenced to supervised release.
Current law allows, but generally does not require: (1) the supervised release of an individual following imprisonment, whether for a felony or misdemeanor conviction; and (2) the deportation of a deportable alien as a condition of supervised release.
