A bill to amend the Communications Act of 1934 in order to expedite the issuance of licenses to operate citizen's band radio transmitters.

Allows the Federal Communications Commission to authorize any retail dealer selling citizen's band radio transmitters to issue a conditional license complete with call number.

Authorizes such dealer to collect and transmit to the Commission the Commission's fee for such license. Provides that the Commission may, at any time within the 180 day period following the date of the application, deny the issuance of a license upon determining that such applicant is not qualified for such license.

Referred to Senate Committee on Commerce.
