Contractor Accountability and Transparency Act of 2016
This bill requires the head of each executive agency to post each covered contract (i.e., a contract for the procurement of property or services with a value greater than the simplified acquisition threshold) entered into by that agency on a publicly available website in a searchable format. The agency head may redact sensitive or classified information, trade secrets, or other proprietary information in such contracts.
