- Amendment prohibits the DOJ from providing funds to sanctuary cities for immigration enforcement efforts.
- Purpose
- An amendment to prohibit the use of funds made available for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program under the heading "Department of Justice-State and Local Law Enforcement Activities-Office of Justice Programs-State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance" may be made available to any State or local government that violates section 642 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act 1996.
