An amendment numbered 32 printed in House Report 115-259 to increase Aquatic Plant Control Research Program by $500,000.00 and aims to (1) provide science-based guidance on developing or using new technologies for managing, preventing, and monitoring aquatic invasive species; (2) improve the efficacy and diversity of available management options; (3) reduce the impacts of aquatic invasive species on federally listed (threatened and endangered) species; (4) reduce operations and maintenance costs associated with aquatic invasive species management; and (5) develop solutions regarding these species based on field needs.
