- An amendment to strike section 438 from the bill which provides for a limitation on the use of funds regarding ozone standards.
- Purpose
- Amendment sought to strike section 438 which prohibits use of funds by the administrator of EPA to propose, promulgate, implement, administer, or enforce a national primary or secondary ambient air quality standard for ozone that is lower than the standard established under the Code of Federal Regulations until at least 85 percent of the counties that were nonattainment areas achieve full compliance with that standard.
