- Purpose
- To provide that the President should now act to impose a ban on the import of Libyan oil into the United States; that the President should actively urge all nations, including our European allies and Japan, to strengthen their cooperation against international terrorism, and coordinate international measures to establish and maintain a total prohibition of all imports of Libyan oil, in order to bring to the earliest possible end the international terrorist practices of the current Libyan regime.
