- Amendment, as modified, increases funding for registering and assessing pesticides by $3 million.
- Purpose
- An amendment numbered 37 printed in the Congressional Record to strike section 421 from the bill. Section 421 prohibits use of funds for use to promulgate a final regulation to implement changes in the payment of pesticide tolerance processing fees. As modified, the amendment increases the funding in the bill for continuance of maintenace fee collections from $17 million to $20 million until September 30, 2002.
