The amendment, unlike the bill, sets out allocations: Measurement, Research and Standards, $47,816,000, including $1,000,000 for Measurements Standards for the Handicapped; Engineering Measurements and Standards, $21,635,000; Computer Science and Technology, $10,000,000; Core Research Program for Innovation and Productivity, $13,557,000; Fire Research Center $5,491,000; Technical Competence, $6,986,000; Central Technical Support, $12,286,000. All figures represent maximum amounts each division may spend. The amendment keeps $6,286,000 maxium that can be transferred to the "Working Capital Fund".
