An amendment to the Carney substitute amendment to restore all sections of the bill struck by the Carney substitute but to lower appropriations in the bills. The decrease in funds is not as great as in the Carney substitute, setting funds at: (CLEAN AIR ACT: FY '83 ($55,685,000), FY '84 ($59,026,000)); (FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION ACT: FY '83 ($40,790,000), FY '84 ($43,237,000)); (SAFE DRINKING WATER ACT: FY '83 ($25,906,000), FY '84 ($27,460,000)); (INTERDISCIPLINARY ACTIVITIES: FY '83 ( $13,770,000), FY'84 ( $14,602,000)); (TOXIC SUBSTANCES CONTROL ACT: FY '83 ($28,149,000), FY '84 ($29,838,000)); (ENERGY ACTIVITIES: FY '83 ($53,530,000), FY '84 ($56,742,000)) and (EPA RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT: FY '83 ($9,721,000), FY '84 ($10,304,000)). Other funding levels remain unchanged: Solid Waste Disposal, FIFRA, and Public Health Service.
