An amendment to strike section 11 of the bill which provides states with authority to regulate the sale and use of any federally registered pesticide as long as the regulations do not contradict provisions of the Act. The section provided means for states to obtain data on the pesticides in question and for the Administrator to deny such requests for information under certain conditions. The denials would be appealable in U.S. District Courts.
