Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to provide that a maximum of 3 percent of the funds provided the states under provisions of the Wagner-Peyser Act are to be provided to assure that each State has sufficient funds to provide staff and other resources necessary to carry out employment service activities and related activities on a statewide basis. It also provides that in providing funds for succeeding years states are not to receive more than 90 percent of the funds provided in 1983.
