Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to require that at least 70 percent of the funds provided in the bill spent by the prime sponsor in the adult training program, youth preparatory programs (other than summer youth employment programs), and employment and training assistance for displaced workers, must be used for direct provision of employment and training services. The amendment lists types of expenditures which cannot be counted in the 70 percent such as wages of participants supportive services for participants, and administrative costs.
