Amendment97th Congress
An amendment to the Schroeder amendment. The amendment strikes all after the short title and adds a new text. In addition to dealing with the same matters in the Schroeder amendment it adds commissary and exchange privileges for former unremarried spouses. It also removes the 180 day limit on health care for former spouses that is in the Schroeder amendment. (In both cases former spouses must have been married to the uniformed service member for 20 years during which the member served in the military).
