An amendment to make the following changes in allocations for FY '83: Mathematical & physical sciences from 288,300,000 dollars to 298,700,000 dollars; Engineering from 98,600,000 dollars to 99,700,000 dollars; Biological, Behavioral, & Social Sciences from 201,000,000 dollars to 186,700,000 dollars; Astronomical, Atmospheric, Earth & Ocean Sciences from 250,800,000 dollars to 259,700,000 dollars; Scientific, Technological, & International Affairs from 50,100,000 dollars to 44,000,000 dollars; and Science & Engineering Education from 45,000,000 dollars to 15,000,000 dollars. The amendment also strikes all of Title IV that would set up a Directorate for Science and Engineering Education.
